The Container Deposit System Management Organization

◦ A cancellation and refund of payment for beverages (including deposit) can be processed according to the rules of each store, and the deposit is given only to the person returning the disposable cup.

◦ For deposit indicating labels:

① Business is suspended/closed
② Deposit label is damaged before its sale
③ If the sale is not possible because the label is already on the disposable cup due to a prior cancellation/refund, a return will be allowed to be processed by using the disposable cup deposit management system. The deposit and processing subsidy will be returned in this scenario.

◦ When a customer requests a change of payment method and a refund, only the deposit is refunded as the disposable cup is considered already used.

◦ Each roll has a unique roll bar code, roll number, order number, and product name.

- Roll barcode/roll number
* When reading a roll’s barcode, you can check information such as roll production date, serial number, and manufacturer
* The roll number is a number given by the Korea Minting and Security Management Corporation that can be checked if there are issues such as returning the deposit labels.

- Order number
* This number is given by The Container Deposit System Management Organization, and you can use the number to check information such as the date and time of a label order, the brand that ordered, the type of container for the label, and the number of rolls ordered. In addition, you can use the order number in the information management system when checking and receiving the label.

- Product name
* Information about the brand name of the business subject to deposit that ordered the label roll and the properties of the deposit label (e.g., its material, standard/non-standard type, shared/brand logo) are written in Korean.

- Only the tracking number is written in the label box

◦ For directly operated stores, the general manager of the franchise headquarters must process the label orders.

◦ Use the「Received Label」function in the 「Label」tab to register information on the received label in the disposable cup deposit payment management system, or,

◦ After logging into the seller app, click on [Have you not registered your label receipt yet?] on the main screen to scan the tracking number or label to register and activate your receipt.

◦Although overall lead time may vary depending on the label application, production schedule, and delivery method (e.g., supply chain security, post office, general courier), deliveries are usually scheduled to begin the day after the label is unloaded, and the system is designed so that business franchise headquarters and franchisees can receive the labels within a maximum of 3 weeks of their order.

◦ Labels can be delivered to the requested location (franchise headquarters, franchise store, distribution center, etc.) according to the brand's internal policy (https://cupcms.cosmo.or.kr)

◦ If the Mint Corporation (printing company, etc.) or transport company is responsible for the cause of loss or damage, the business subject to deposit does not pay anything. However, if the label stored at the head office is lost, a label fee (KRW 6.99/sheet) may be charged.

◦ You can view and register the request status of purchased labels and sales details through the individual franchise store manager’s account.

◦ The return quantity can be inquired in the seller app and payment management system.

◦ A barcode is automatically generated when a collection request is made. The disposable cup deposit payment management system does not generate a barcode.
